We were pregnant together twice. Our older and youngest kids are both 6 weeks apart. Our dogs? One week apart.

This time though? I tapped out 💛early retirement from pregnancy. She kept going like the goddess she is 🌸✨

So I grabbed my camera, she threw on some dresses. We kicked off our shoes, and wandered barefoot at the lake while I got to capture the magic of baby number 3 🐣

Grateful beyond words for a friendship that feels soul picked 🦋

As summer winds down, im reflecting on the warmth and connections that fueled my creativity. 🌸 This season has been filled with new patterns, fresh ideas, so many florals , many new faces and friends and now, a much-needed rest and some space to allow the inspiration to grow. Now, with my energy being restored, im preparing to dive into the magic of fall. 🍂 Expect more beautiful creations adorned with the prettiest florals as I embrace this next chapter. 🌸✨ Festival/Market season has been such a beautiful and fulfilling time, letting my creativity shine through one-of-a-kind wearable art. Each piece, a celebration of connection, the strength of women, and the beauty of individuality.

As I spend the rest of these sun-kissed days with my family, resting and playing, my heart is full of gratitude and inspiration.

The first year of jumpsuits! Not sure why I waited so long 😂 but there will be more to come! I have one of my children home with me this week so I'm not in the studio as much as I'd like to be but none the less, I'm getting in there as much as I can! One week until .festival ✨

My oldest babe slammed her finger in a door and broke it on Wednesday, so needless to say, things have been a little slower around here. She ended up with quite a few stitches but she's most concerned about how she'll hold on while riding the tube this weekend with her friends 😂

Leas time in the studio for me, so I know there will be some late nights ahead, but that's ok. I'm have some beautiful pieces planned!

I'm so so happy that those wonderful ladies from captured so many of my pieces before they went to their forever homes. That won't be the case for this next batch of items, but ill@do my best to take a few photos myself and as always will share in my stories!

I made it home and had the most wonderful sleep in my own bed. Snuggled my babies this morning and will be spending the day unpacking and reorganizing my life 😂

I feel so honoured to have met and talked with so many amazing women this past weekend and witnessed the joy and playfulness that came from trying on and twirling around in some of the pieces I made.

For those of you who are new here, I'm Andrea 💛

I live on Vancouver Island with my husband, our two children, North & Esme and our dog Nola. Though i learned to sew at a very young age, I stepped away for many years following high school and pursued an education in Nursing.

North of Esme came to life in 2020, after the birth of my second babe. What began as creating elegant gowns for photography sessions has evolved and shifted into the creation of pieces that can be worn in your everyday life and passed down to those you love.

My love for fashion is woven into every piece I craft. I seek out textiles that whisper of childhood memories and the wisdom of grandparents, transforming them into garments that evoke emotion and nostalgia. It’s not just about sewing; it’s about capturing the essence of a moment and turning it into something tangible, something cherished.

Beyond the stitches and seams, I practice craniosacral and acupressure therapies, nurturing healing through touch. This fall, I’ll be diving deeper into somatic therapy and breathwork, expanding my journey of holistic wellness. You can follow my journey here if you like ✨
