Second run club of the season is officially in the books.

Huge shoutout to Hornet gels, Eracer Drinks, and Quai 1635 for linking up and supporting this one with us.

Sun was out, but it was really the energy that carried the morning. From the run to the DJ set, the vibe never dropped.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up, everyone who represented the brand, and everyone who came through and made that Saturday morning feel like something bigger than just a run.

New faces, familiar ones, all moving in the same rhythm. That’s exactly what this is becoming.

But don’t get comfortable… this is still early.
You’re not ready for what’s building this summer.
The movement is compounding every time we show up. Sharper. Louder. Harder to ignore.

The partners behind the chaos.

For the first edition of the Blackout Backyard Ultra, we’re proud to be surrounded by partners who believe in endurance, performance, and community.


Every participant will receive 5 Hornet Energy gels for race day. Built with simple ingredients like honey and salt to keep athletes moving deep into the night.


Every athlete will receive an exclusive Blackout patch, produced and offered by Murph for the event.


Every participant will receive a Believe shaker and will be fueled with Performance Fuel throughout the race.


The Klyra clinic will be on-site throughout the event to support athletes, help prevent injuries, and keep runners moving through the night.


The heart behind the event.
Maison Olphise is helping bring the Blackout Backyard Ultra to life and will be attempting a 78-hour non-stop cooking world record while fully fueling every athlete during the 12-hour event.

5KM community run at an easy social pace (6:15–6:30/km). 🏃‍♂️⚡️

Starting at 9AM at Quai 1635.
Good people, right along the St. Lawrence River, music all morning and the kind of energy you only get when everyone shows up for the same reason.

After party from 10AM to 11AM with Charles Guimont on the music.
Every runner will also receive gels from Hornet Energy before the run (tastes amazing in coffee too 😉).

Movement, community, sunshine, music and a perfect start to the weekend. 🌊🎶

Still thinking about last Run Club at Carrera Café.

Around 100 people showed up for a morning that felt bigger than just a run. Good people, coffee, conversations, DJs, movement and a solid atmosphere from start to finish.

Big thanks to Carrera Café for hosting us and to Red Bull Canada for being part of the event.

Next Run Club — May 30.
