For this grad, her mom’s old dress was the perfect fit, but she wanted to put her own spin on it. The addition of a rainbow sheer layer applied overtop and cut at an angle for interest was the perfect special touch.🥰

I should have taken before photos but you’ll have to take my word for it…this was an off the rack dress that needed some love. We couldn’t lace up the back properly because many of the loops had been pulled out/missing. Now it is looking like new and fits beautifully! Just need to tack the lace back down, replace the zipper and hem it so she’ll be gorgeous for grad!🤩🎉

TBT… the most odd alteration request. This grad was very petite and didn’t want to lose the length in order to be able to resell the dress later. She requested the top be rolled over the skirt to sort of look like a blouse and skirt combo. Once Grad was done she only had to let the “belt” fall and it became a full length dress again. It took some figuring, but I worked it out!
