Y2K is calling… wants its gladiator stilettos back. Will exchange for youthful enthusiasm. 😝 🪩

This millennial is throwing it back to the 2010s… when we called our besties on landlines to ask opinions on jeans and a going-out-top vs. a high-low romper and “crazy” heels, or are they boots — they’re gladiators!

👢 These showstoppers are a size 7.5 and available for $60, along with the sheer floral high-low romper (size L, $25) and black leather, oversized satchel (Danier, $40).

Believe it or not, this little shoot was thoughtfully curated to bring all of us who lived through the millenium right back… from sitting on the floor getting ready (spot the mega hairspray bottle and blowout brush?!) to the huge purse, to the full Escada perfume we packed for the night 😂

Archival 2010s pics of moi included as proof of the deep side parts, statement necklaces and corporate-meets-cocktail wear we rocked.

Motherhood, reality vs. red carpet.

My little boy ran over my precious handmade kimono with his scooter before gifting me his monster truck to make amends. Moments later, my little girl threw an (adorable) tantrum because she wanted her own fancy purse and to come to the fashion show. Being a mother is the hardest, most beautiful job I have ever taken on.

I love motherhood and mothers! We are the most powerful force on earth. To celebrate this; I’m offering 50% off everything, for every mother who comes to shop at C’est Madeline today (May 9, 2026).

Speaking of amazing women…

It was my honour to wear this original kimono to a Sofia House fundraiser fashion show last night; aimed at helping abused women and children. The event did this through championing women entrepreneurs, creators, connectors and community-builders. That’s my kind of fashion!

And, in case I haven’t bragged about her to you yet, is Kirsten; a skilled mother of two who turned this vintage bedspread into the stunning piece pictured in less than a week; check out her ethereal, bohemian designs! We met at my little corner of the — and like so many of you wonderful women; I’m now proud to call her a friend (and even better, a collaborator!).

Happy Mother’s Day Eve. Bonne fête de maman!
