had to teach myself how to make a reel again… SO WORTH IT for these beauties! Watching unpack bags of amazing vintage clothing was killing me because we have been so crazy busy, I couldn’t find time to mark it to her studio to try anything on. Super grateful she could drop off a few things for me to try on because I found some treasures!!

I can’t keep it all, can I?! HELP ME pick the best ones! Which pieces are your faves?!? 🧡🩷

I don’t share much about my role at the art gallery but today I want to share a project I’ve been proud to contribute to - the Orange Shirt Day project.

Tuesday is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - meant for us to honor Residential School Survivors , their families, and the children who didn’t get to come home. If you’re off with your kiddos swing by the .art.gallery for free art activities and exhibition tours. They are also the go-to stop to grab your Orange Shirts this weekend (and all year round because this work is on going) - they have many great designs to choose from - all designed by Indigenous artists and 100% of the proceeds go back to organizations working to educate and heal the painful legacy that was caused from the Residential School System - All Nations Hope Network and Buffalo People’s Art Institute.

This tee is designed by 🧡

Slide for the kiddos showing their favorite tees from and Jayda Delorme - available in sizes for toddlers to big kids!

Ever wondered what treasures are hiding in your closet? 🕵️‍♀️👗

To kick off my no-new-clothes challenge, I decided to give my wardrobe a thorough cleanse. Inspired by Allison Bornstein’s Wear It Well and the KonMari Method I learned working with - I embarked on a journey to define my personal style and find new inspiration with the clothing I already have. Here’s how it’s going:

Step 1: I pulled out all my most-worn and favorite pieces and laid them on my bed. This helped me spot trends in what I consistently reach for. Turns out, I’m all about oversized comfort, classic patterns like leopard and houndstooth, denim, leather, natural fibers, and a mix of bold colors with black and white.

Step 2: Next, I tackled the “nevers”—those items that just don’t get worn. Following Allison’s advice, I didn’t overthink it; if I don’t wear it, it goes in a box, I’ll revisit the Nevers next. Although it’s recommended to do the I’ll process in one go, I’m breaking this into chunks because, well, .

Step 3: With the closet cleared, I vacuumed the drawers and corners, then freshened it up with my favorite All Purpose spray.

Stay tuned to see how the rest of this process unfolds! And guess what? I found something hilarious at the back of my top shelf… Have you ever discovered something amusing or unexpected during a closet clean-out? 👇😂
