hello all you lovely people :)

i’m bee!

for the past 5 years i’ve ran my shop: toffee tin vintage. i’ve loved learning how to run a business, build websites, take photos.. all that business bologna. i’ve pushed through every hardship along the way because i really, truly believe in giving pieces another chance. now its time to grow (just a wee bit more) & start a new chapter! i bring you:

a one stop shop for your home decor needs (if you’re down with my aesthetic). i love neutral tones of browns, natural textures, & pieces that make you look twice! my goal is to curate a shop full of treasures to fill your space & make it feel like an extension of you.

i’ve always had a passion for home decor. if there’s a surface, i’m decorating it. if my friend gets a new house, i’m loading up my trunk with treasures & hauling them over. it’s gotten to the point where i catch myself paying more attention to the background decor than the show/movie i’m watching. i just really love to fill spaces with pieces that showcase a personality & look cute af

old s**t has always fascinated me and it will always be my go-to when designing/curating for a space. you mix those passions together & viola!

i will be participating in the mother’s day market at this weekend to showcase all of my pretty things that i think would look lovely in your space (or your momma’s)

i’m getting out of the clothing game!

i need to clear out my inventory so every single piece of clothing has been marked down 30-80%!! i will keep the available pieces listed on my site until the end of april. whatever is left over will be gifted & donated

if i’m being fully honest, i’ve been marinating on this decision for years.

few reasons for this:
~ vintage clothing fits weird & it’s difficult to purchase if you can’t try on

~ thrifting is huge! it’s more trendy than ever to go pick out the stuff YOU like that flatters YOUR body

~ the main reason: my beautiful best friend, brooke. she wears plus sizes & has a very different shopping experience than some others. it breaks my heart every single time we have to go to the dark, back corner of a store to shop for her (if they even have proper sizing). or when the sales associate tells us that her sizes are only available online (i’m looking at you ). the list goes on.
i truly believe that if i am to be selling clothing (vintage or not), i should offer options for every body. i am not able to properly do that, so i am closing this area of my shop.

that being said, i did learn the hard way to check the inside of vases before you claim them… i won’t go into detail but they’re clean now so that’s what matters. 🙃

i remember when i first started this shindig, i was so self conscious about the photography aspect of things..

the fear that my pictures weren’t good enough, or the background didn’t fit the “aesthetic” genuinely held me back

it’s been almost 5 years since and i can say i’m proud of my photos & how far i’ve come. it took a lot of learning and cooperation from the sun, but here we are! 🌞📸
