GAMA Curated is a Canadian online-based women’s clothing store that offers a curated selection of pre-loved garments. This company was inspired by a group of four best friends: Georgia, Alyssa, Megan, and Andrelyn and regardless of each member’s unique styles and personalities, we all appreciate and work well together. Gamma by definition means “relating to, or being closely related to three or more chemical substances”.
Having studied and worked within the fashion industry, I have come to learn about all the negative impacts that the industry has on our environment resulting from poor working conditions, overproduction, and the excessive usage and wastage of resources polluting the environment. For the past year, I have actively tried to reduce my fashion carbon footprint by only purchasing used clothing and decided to share this practice with my community.
