After much thought, I have decided it is time to begin a new chapter in my life.
Later this summer, I will be getting married and moving to Fort McMurray. As a result, I will be semi-retiring and closing out my fabric store inventory as I prepare for this exciting transition.
Although my business in Rocky Mountain House has only been open for four years, it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. During that time, I have had the privilege of meeting incredible people, helping students discover a love of sewing, working with brides on their special day, and sharing creativity with such a wonderful community.
What began as a business became so much more. It became friendships, conversations, laughter, learning, and a place where people gathered because they shared a love of creating.
I feel truly blessed and grateful for every customer who supported my shop, attended a class, trusted me with alterations, purchased fabric, or simply stopped by to visit. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your sewing journey.
As I prepare for this next chapter, I will be holding a Retirement & Moving Sale beginning June 23rd. My final day open will be August 21, 2026, and my goal is to find new homes for all the beautiful fabrics, notions and supplies before then.
Thank you for four wonderful years of support, encouragement, and friendship. The memories I have made here will stay with me forever.
I hope you’ll stop by over the coming weeks, say hello, share a memory, and help me celebrate this new beginning.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bonnie ❤️
