Running a small business has been an incredible journey—one full of lessons, challenges, and amazing support from all of you. But after much reflection, I’ve realized that balancing work, farming, family, and friends has left me unable to give this business the love, time, and attention it deserves. The reality of small business costs, endless logistics, and unexpected hurdles has shown me that there really aren’t enough hours in the day.
With the current state of the economy, fluctuating shipping rates, and the many challenges that small business owners face, I’ve realized it’s time to take a step back and focus on what truly matters—my loved ones, my career, and ultimately, my happiness. As I transition into diving deeper into my social work career and spending more time with my loved ones and farm life, I’m filled with gratitude for the support from each and every one of you. Thank you for sharing, liking, posting, and purchasing from my small little business. Every interaction has meant the world.
The lessons learned along the way—about the complexities of small business, the kindness and sometimes not-so-kindness of others, and the importance of self-care—will stay with me. I look forward to new adventures and I’ll carry the lessons and love from this chapter into the next.
