We’ve received questions about customs charges when importing our products into the United States. Here are the facts, clearly stated:

✅ Import duty into the United States: 0%
✅ Tariff rate: 0%
✅ USMCA (CUSMA) preferential treatment: 0%

Our presewn wing skins for manned ultralight aircraft are:

Made in 🇨🇦 Canada using 🇺🇸U.S.-made materials (Dacron, ..)

Classified under HS / HTS 8803.30 (civil aircraft parts)

Entering the U.S. duty-free

There are no additional tariffs applied at the border.
Shipments clear U.S. Customs with the proper HS code and origin declaration, with 0% duty.

In short: 0% duty. No surprises.

If your broker or carrier needs confirmation, we’re happy to provide it. The «B13 form» will be completed and electronically submitted to DHL at the time of shipment to ensure efficient processing.

Effectuer l’assemblage de pièces d’entoilages ULM en tissu de Dacron, en faire la couture manuelle et robotisée. Expérience en assemblage et couture de voiles de bateau, auvents, garages de toiles serait un atout à considérer puisqu’il s’agit d’un domaine connexe. Bonne connaissance de l’anglais et de l’informatique.

Because of the risk of suspension of international freight from COVID-19, we are speeding up the process and fulfilling orders for deliveries outside of America as quickly as possible. We work 16 hours a day, even at night, for the satisfaction of our customers! This is a set for a Rans S12 that will be shipped in France. Enjoy the tour of our shop by the way 😁

Back 10 years ago, I was working in software programming & engineering from 9AM-5PM. While aviation was a passion, then I started/merged working for Ultralight Sails Canada as part time job from 7PM to 11PM. I was alone in the workshop. My friend Skip accompanied me at work those evenings. He passed away 1 month ago at the age of 15. G-Bye Skip, all the team still miss you. You were a good boy!
