Sunday inspiration. All afternoon today I was in my garden reading the fabulous book ‘ Provence 1970.’ Julia child, MFK Fischer, Richard Olney and James Beard reinventing American cuisine in the winter of 1970 in Provence. I happen upon à recipe completely by accident from the lovely David Lebovitz for a plum desert à sort of clafoutis inspired by Richard Olney and I had to try it. Voila the result lamb shank with polenta and plum flaugnarde delicious!
