Help!
I’ve made a new toque design, and I need help choosing a name!

All the toques in the Lazybones collection have so far been named after mountains or areas in the Shuswap (the area where I live in BC and where all your Lazybones knits are made!)

I’m leaning towards the Anstey toque, named for the Anstey arm of the Shuswap lake.
Tell me your suggestions! Especially if you live in the area!

It would be pretty easy to make up a pattern for this one too, any interest fellow knitters?
If you didn’t know, I also have a collection of beginner-friendly aesthetically pleasing patterns available on my Etsy! Perfect season to start making Christmas gifts 🥰

🧡Lil Hearts🧡 Halloween Toque🎃
Just like the fitment-wise, but ready for fall mode✨

My brain is slowly transitioning to dreaming of spooky decor and cinnamon smells… while I also get ready to float the Enderby River this afternoon in 30+ degree sunshine 😂

I’m always caught between trying to enjoy what I have, and looking forward to the next season of life!

I know it’s June, but hear me out:
If you start now, you can be good at it in time to make Christmas gifts this year 🎄
This is how I started, self taught and now forever obsessed. 😈
I just wanted to make a few scarves, now I’ve found a whole community of the coolest, kindest people and created a small business doing something I actually really love.

Besides that, knitting is movement meditation. I’ve found so much peace and therapy in the times I’m able to be quiet with just my needles clicking. I’m so stoked to spread the knowledge of knitting basics to anyone who might resonate with that, and just wants to maybe find their own peace.
