February 2010 we opened our doors to the public, and have never been more grateful for our commitment towards ensuring everyone feels 100% in their clothing; as we know too well, not only is everybody different, but every body is too! ThAnKyOu for the trust, it has truly been an honour serving Sarnia and surrounding areas. I’m looking forward to many more. ❤️

This past few weeks, I altered two gowns, one white and one black, I think they really liked me because during their fittings they invited me to their wedding. I hesitated and didn't answer right away... wowed really, "this is a big day"! These two women are most comfortable and sincere and they both have a tremendous amount of respect and love for one another. When fitting the bride, I joked about me being a seamstress not a le***an, and she laughed and said "I'm a le***an not a seamstress" and then went on to express her feelings for her bride to be... whom, I also got the privilege to alter her gown as well. They were a true blessing to work with individually and with great honour, I attended their wedding last weekend. I'm glad I went, I have been able to witness beauty in a lot of dark I've been carrying, I ThAnKyOu alorawr_ and

I’m going to be as REAL as possible. And I “anticipate” the same from all of you.

As most of my customers know, there is a huge problem with the air quality in the shop. I am fully aware.

To start clearing the air, I’d like to say NO, it is not me. I am not getting high in the back room, or on my break or anywhere! There are some tenants above the unit I rent, who have undeniably made some significant life choices.

So I’ve expressed this over time to my Landlord, and he’s saying “put it in writing, every time and date…” telling him every day at any given time was ineffective. So I’ve been making notes on my own, and handed a few in, I’ve submitted a proper complaint in a detailed email with more dates… I’ve even had customers write out their own complaints.

This is detrimental for my business.

Over the time I’ve spent a small fortune on air quality products as well as vent filters, I’ve tried a rainbow filter, defuser, essential oils, Scentsy, Lysol… I stand on a stool and open the ceiling and pump a whole can in there, I’ve also placed fabric softener beads in the vents. What I’ve got going on now seems to lessen the amount of toxins… i still use a glade plug in, which is the scent of crisp linen (for those who are in on a good day and say it smells amazing) I keep the bathroom vent on and I’ve also been shutting the air off when I’m not there, and sometimes when I am. Which is HOT lately. (don’t tell the landlord) Truth, I’m losing my mind.

I want you all to know that I am fully aware of the situation and I too see it to be a problem. I am not sure how to solve it just yet… if all fails, I might have to look for another location. I’m hoping not to do that, I really so appreciate the space I’ve created.

I NEED YOUR HELP: if you’ve spent some time in my establishment and have noticed the smell of ma*****na, could you take in on the comment section, and write out your thoughts on the matter.. so I may also add this to my collection of complaints.
