Every word still true - Happy Mother’s Day to those in all walks of motherhood 🤍

Mother’s Day … can be a loaded one.

Happy Mother’s Day to those with their tiny humans (and grown up ones!) and wishing you a day of feeling loved and appreciated; and know that this incredibly important -though it can feel thankless- job you’re doing ✨literally✨ changes the world.

But also, the sharp contrast of the mothers that carry the pain of only being able to hold their child(ren) in their heart; that visualize how old and what their angel child would be doing “right now” if they hadn’t been taken - the ones with empty arms.

It’s both a beautiful and difficult day and I hope that no matter where you fit in there - one, the other, or a mix of the two - that you feel seen and loved for the amazing human being you are.

Well it’s Winter Storming outside. Outlook for outdoor Easter egg hunt this year… not looking good. So here’s a custom stained mobile with the cutest, fluffiest sheep that gave both my kids cute aggression - had to sneak this one out of the house to ship it! The even spacing of the felt balls on this one also gives it a different feel.

I initially had a cheerful mobile ready to post - but I looked outside at the weather getting all overcast and windy, and felt the moody lighting on this one was more suitable…

This one is SO special as it went to a longtime customer, ordering another for her second - I absolutely love and am always legit honoured to have my pieces become a part of the family tradition keepsakes! Nothing is a bigger compliment than repeat orders 🤍

A little honesty —

😕 It’s been frustrating and discouraging lately, and it’s been difficult to be consistently posting... I’ve watched local shops around me close, felt tariffs decimate my sales, and seen my material costs skyrocket while more people are pushed toward cheaper, mass-made alternatives.

📉On top of that, Etsy has buried my shop in favour of larger dropshippers while the platform’s repeated issues and system flaws have cost me my hard-earned Star Seller status — where I have customer support disconnect me time and time again when I challenge it. The algorithms across the platforms have buried the small makers alive.

🩶I’m grateful this has always been a passion project rather than my main income, and my heart truly goes out to fellow makers trying to survive in this climate. Still, it’s been hard not to question whether the time and effort are worth it. I’ve been focusing my time and efforts on other things in my life now - like many of us these days, I look around and just think… “I’m tired, boss.”

🤗For now, I’ll continue taking custom orders —this has always been about me truly enjoying doing this with you! So even if I’m not really present on my profile grid or stories these days, I am still here and always happy to help create something meaningful! After all, we all need a little joy these days 🤍
