Not so casual Fridays. This week I was delighted to re wear this fabulous outfit I had worn for my daughter, Taylor's baby shower in Weyburn. The dress was a clever, pleated design with metallic graphic print on it by Frank Lyman and the cover-up was by Funsport. Truly, one of the most unique pieces they have ever done - curated by my dear friend, Debbie Slavin. The bustier bag which matches perfectly was part of a collection that we carried and sold in the early 2000's with all proceeds going to the Breast Health Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital. Add a metallic shoe and I’m ready for a night out!

Congratulations to my future family doctor! Cara was accepted into medical school at the University of Saskatchewan and begins classes in August. For her interview and a few conferences I helped her select a Joseph Ribkoff stretch crepe suit with classic gold buttons. It appears it was the perfect thing. Bravo Cara!

It's been a week and I still haven't posted about how my Saint James stood up to my toddler grandson. The product did not disappoint although I had no time to take pictures, as Kallum never stops moving. I managed to photograph one piece in a heavier weight cotton that had raspberries smooshed on it, but they all came out with simple water and a microfibre cloth. Saint James can take the punishment and the fun!

Not so casual Fridays. I’ve decided I need to kick it up a notch. Growing up in Major, I watched ladies get their hair done for the weekend and dress up. Friday was usually a dinner out or drinks somewhere, Saturday night, possibly a dance and Sunday for church. I have albums full of pictures of my parents going out on a Saturday night. Today I decided to wear a wonderful, comfy, sparkly two-piece pant suit. I’m wearing Birkenstocks while I work and my heels for dinner out tonight. I feel great! Why don’t you elevate your weekend too?
