Hello. I’m Lorna. Zippers: I offer zipper replacement services in clothing. Or fix, when possible. Cell 306-371-9175.
I developed an allergy to metal, so, no metal zippers. Mostly, I do jackets. Fall/Winter wear. I charge $2-$3 per inch + zipper. An example of $3 per inch would be downfilled. I take great care to restore coats with zippers. I do a very nice job.
I get great satisfaction from making an unusable coat, usable again. We all need coats. And, Sometimes good coats are hard to find.
The Clippers part; is my custom work and inventions. I make a darn nice pair of kids, flannel pajama pants. I would need a size, plus a waist, and leg length measurement.
$50 for the labor. You would pick and supply the fabric. I could also work with fleece. Pictured are a sm/tall and an xs.

Hello folks. It’s been awhile. Lorna here. I’ve been busy with zippers, grandchildren, rentals and 3 week bu**er cold. Mostly I want to chat today. I’ve been helping people with sewing for 10 years. Zippers exclusively for the last 4 years.
I’m noticing now that people are spending their dollars a bit differently. The last 3 years, about, people have been concerned about keeping good coats, with lots of wear left in them, out of the landfill. It’s still a factor, but making the dollars, go the farthest, long term seems to be more the focus. Will a new coat, instead of a zipper replacement give the best bang for the buck? This is what I want for you. The most long lasting result. I enjoy doing zipper replacements and I’ve done so many that I’m really good at It. 5-10year fix.
We need warm coats, with working zippers. Especially lately. I haven’t raised my prices in 3 years. I charge by the inch. $2-$3. Which will probably never be less than $50. And upwards from there. Clothing only. Mostly jackets, coats, parkas. I only use new zippers. I offer a fast turnaround time. A few days.

My first post for 2025. Happy New Year!
My name is Lorna. I have been replacing zippers(or fix if possible) in jackets, coats, parkas for multiple years. Only clothing items. Primarily winter clothing. My business is home based in Saskatoon. I offer a fast turnaround. A couple of days. My prices are similar to my like competitors. I do not use shortcuts. I install only new zippers. Always considering which would be the best possible match.
My goal is to use my talent and expertise to restore your items to achieve a long lasting result. No metal, no leather, no bags, no fragrance.

Grateful! A bobcat just drove through and cleared the sidewalk. Wow! Been here 18 years and it’s a first. Never seen that before. We will still get to say hello to our neighbors, though. Plenty every where else.

Now that the weather is cooling a bit, people interested in zipper replacements are starting to ask questions.
I only replace zippers in clothing. Primarily winter clothing, jackets. My pricing is $2 per inch + cost of the replacement zipper, for items that are uncomplicated and would take about 2.5-3 hours. For items that have a complication that would increase the length of time it would take to about 5 hours, I charge $3 per inch + zipper cost.
There are a few instances that increase the price, downfilled is one of them.
I offer quality workmanship. Many years of experience restoring winter wear. Central Location and fast turnaround. My business is in my home, so drop offs and pickups need to be prearranged. Cash is preferred.
