A few years ago I hosted a “moms & minis” party at the store for some friends and their daughters. Three of those daughters turn 11 this year and informed me that since I haven’t had an event for kids since they were 5(!!!) they would like to plan their own party. It just so happened that one had a birthday coming VERY SOON after this conversation, so it worked out perfectly to plan their party around her birthday.

Decorations, games, playlist, menu - they thought of it all, and we had an absolute blast together. While this isn’t something I’ll be offering to the general public at this time, the dress up outfits are too fun not to share a photo of!

Il y a quelques années, j'ai organisé une fête "mamans et minis" au magasin pour des amis et leurs filles. Trois de ces filles auront 11 ans cette année et m'ont informé que puisque je n'ai pas eu d'événement pour les enfants depuis qu'ils ont 5 ans (!!!) Ils aimeraient planifier leur propre fête. Il se trouve que l'un d'eux avait un anniversaire à venir TRÈS BIENTÔT après cette conversation, donc cela a parfaitement fonctionné pour planifier leur fête autour de son anniversaire.

Décorations, jeux, liste de lecture, menu - ils ont pensé à tout, et nous nous sommes éclatés ensemble. Bien que ce ne soit pas quelque chose que j'offrirai au grand public en ce moment, les tenues d'habillage sont trop amusantes pour ne pas partager une photo!

Our EmpowerHer girls have a full year of creativity, activities, projects and fun ahead — and we’re still looking for supplies to help make it all happen! ✨

Community support helps us provide opportunities for girls to create, express, move, discover and connect, and every donated item helps us build our supply collection for year-long programming.
