Brenda Vrybloed Art

Brenda Vrybloed is an Edmonton-based artist who primarily creates acrylic landscape paintings inspired by the places she calls home and the places she has explored across the country. Drawing from personal experience and reference photographs she has taken during her travels, her work celebrates the beauty and diversity of the Canadian landscape, from Alberta's prairies, mountains, and rural scenery to the coastal views and communities of Eastern Canada. Through colour, texture, and light, Brenda aims to capture the character and atmosphere of the landscapes that have inspired her.

Unexpected Creations

I am a Glass Artist. Some of the items I create include transforming items that would go into landfills. I mainly work in fused glass, but also dabble in glass bead making. I try to create pieces that can be used in homes, such as serving bowls and plates. I follow my passion for the Ocean and Gardening in many of my pieces. I love the colour and beauty of nature and how glass can mimic many images.

Nest Embirdery

Carley began Nest Embirdery in 2020 as a way to explore textile art and needle work in a modern way. Through embroidery, she advocates and educates others about endangered species and how we can save animals across the globe. Nest Embirdery promotes sustainability and environmentalism through the use of sustainably harvested products, eco-friendly packaging, and up-cycled supplies. We supply embroidery kits for others to create art of their own and explore new hobbies as well as kits to be able to embroider your own clothing. To honour Carley's passion for animals, a portion of the proceeds are donated towards a featured animal conservation organization.

Hi! I’m Maddie, the owner of Fruit Bat Dog Designs. My business is named after my dog, George Fruit Bat Jones (named George Jones at the rescue, his middle names added due to his uncanny resemblance to a fruit bat.) I’ve been an artist all my life, but never quite found my niche until I specialized in Lino prints! I love to create art that is silly, weird, quirky, and makes people laugh when they see it.
