The story of this bible began in 1866. It was presented to a newly married couple as a wedding present from their local church in Delft, Netherlands. It is written in an older version of Dutch. When I found it half of it was missing. I bought it for the covers, but when I started really looking at it, I realized what it was, thanks to Google Translate. I salvaged the most important papers and built it as a journal in an accordion format so it would stand on its own. Some pages are covered in tissue paper so you can write on them. I hope someone continues its journey. Write your story or add your artwork. Tie more pages in if you need more room. Let’s continue the journey for another 160 years.
