Loose lips might sink ships but the whole armada will fall in line behind the Commandame jacket. Created from a thrifted military jacket decked out with gold denim fabric, collected patches and pins sourced from all corners of our travels. The most noteworthy being the small perfume bottle pin, with a hand cross-stitched flower on the front and still has the reminiscent scent of Grandmama. This jacket leads the fleet and adds some gentle-but-no-b.s. authority to any social circumstance.

⁣Along our way on our New Mexico sister road trip we found some sparkling white desert sand dunes.(Look it up for real, It’s actually the world’s largest gypsum dune field, who knew?) ⠀

Naturally when coming across a super cool natural phenomenon you put on your most bad ass military sister reworked jacket, gold pants, newly acquired vintage ostrich feathered hat, heavy jewelry you brought along for a one week road trip AND you do a photoshoot! ⠀

Road Trip!
We always love travelling together. So many laughs and snacks and trips to the thrift store. We loved our trip to New Mexico recently.We brought along some outfits we made to do some fun photo shoots along the way. We will post some of them soon, promise. Camping hair made it quite the hilarious process but a must do regardless. Sometimes you just need to throw on the weird outfit and prance around in the desert with your sister.

We still haven’t posted enough photos and videos from this super fun shoot we did in the fall. This suit is a beauty. We love bringing feminine accents like bright pink flowers to a dark work wear suit. Get s**t done and look like a badass doing it! When we did our photo shoot with this suit we tried a few different styling versions. One was with big painted work boots and another with a cute pump and red leather bag. Also… how hot is ??!?!?! Thank you for always being our talented and amazing makeup artist extraordinaire and model. You are super great and we love you! 📸: 🎥: 💋:

Orange is always a favourite because it's bright and lets everyone know who the boss is. We love that. We also love wearing this cropped denim jacket as a perfect winter mid-layer, just ditch your oversized down puffy and immediately command the room like the predator you are. Or do like we like to do—fly to the desert like some kind of migrating sexy snowbird and let this one-of-a-kind jacket inform all the locals that yes, you're ready to become the Queen of Temecula... but beware the fangs.
