So what exactly makes 20% vinegar different from the vinegar you already have at home?
Regular kitchen vinegar is usually around 5% acetic acid, while cleaning vinegar is stronger. At 20%, the much higher concentration makes it useful for some of those tougher jobs around the home and yard.
One of its most popular uses is w**d control ā especially for w**ds growing through cracks in driveways, patios, walkways and other areas where you donāt want vegetation growing. It can also be used for tougher cleaning jobs like cutting through grease, soap scum and mineral buildup, and deodorizing drains.
Because 20% vinegar is highly concentrated, it needs to be handled carefully and used according to the label. Itās also non-selective when used on plants, meaning it can damage grass and other vegetation it comes in contact with.
For everyday cleaning, we also carry 12% cleaning vinegar by refill at Pūrpour.
