Hi Everyone. I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. Given the situation that we’re in, I wanted to give you some inspiration (as I was inspired when I first saw his story). Meet !
Manny is a 55 years old long distance runner. But he wasn’t always a runner. At 48, his doctor asked him to start an exercise program to improve his health. Starting slow, he set a goal that before the 5th year he would run a marathon. Well he did that, and since then has completed 3 marathons, 2 30k races (soon to be 3), 7 half marathons, and numerous shorter runs.
Manny runs alone outdoors, year round, 3 days per week for 8 of those months. During marathon training season (June to September) he runs 4 days per week.
While running is intensive mentally, physically and spiritually, it allows him to clear his mind and boosts his energy levels. Running alone gives him the solitude he needs in an ever crowded world.
When I heard this, I knew I just had to share in the hopes that it would bring you a little joy and inspiration in these trying days. Take care everyone.

Sooo thankful to for sharing her selfie while sporting my Red Hill Valley Trail Tee. Notice the snow in the background - this is absolutely dedication and seriousness to her craft! So, a huge shoutout to Lisa for this!!! If you’re not already following her, you’ve got to, like right now! Her feed is incredible and she claims to only be an amateur wildlife photographer. I don’t think so. Let’s help her change all of that! 😬

2020 is off to a great start, balmy weather and all!We did manage to find and get some winter in to mark 2020 and before returning home. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.
