It’s been a month since I’ve last graced your timeline, but I promise I haven’t forgotten about you. I’ve just been *very* focussed on getting as much prep done as possible for next weekend at .pei 🧶

All new fibre art batts, new hand spun yarn, a bunch of new stitch marker sets, some really fun felting kits, and even a NEW colour crewneck. 🙊

I had my handspun “Dream Sweater” Ranunculus on display at WoolStock East last weekend, and people kept stopping to admire it which I truly love and appreciate!

Fast-forward to this week and I found two of my sample fibre batts that I made when I was planning this sweater project in the depths of my wool bins, and I decided to take those two batts and turn them into something new.

The end result is seven 50g batts, consisting of merino, PEI alpaca and discontinued Belfast Mini Mills wool (350g total). They are not exactly the same as my sweater, but they’re so so close!

I would love for these seven to stay together, to become the dream project for one of you. If you’re interested in taking the lot, to spin yarn for your own garment, please reach out to me and I’ll arrange to get them to you. 💛

REALLY INTO YARN Tees AND Crewnecks!

This year, we decided to go for a new colour for tees, and chose this really lovely heather sage green tee with white ink! The crewneck is the classic natural colour with black ink. So stinking excited to see you all wearing them 💁🏻‍♀️

Each unique wool batt is 70g of scrumptious Island wool & fibre. A real labour of love, from the farms of my family & friends, washed, picked, and carded by yours truly. The Neapolitan ice cream of wool. A few weeks ago I scoured this Shetland wool from a friends farm not far from us. This wool belonged to Pandy, a handsome, gentle ram who sadly is no longer with us. I’m so grateful to be able to have some of his magical fleece to play with. His wool ranges from a natural bright white, to a rich dark chocolate colour. It’s magnificent. 🩶🐏
