Sewing is definitely 🪡 🧵

Last week, there was a CBC article about Fabricville's closure. There was a quote included about making clothes being a lost art and that really struck a chord with us. It got us thinking about how we can share more about what we do here at The Sewist.
For over a decade, we've been on a mission to teach people of all ages the joy of making their own clothing - we have more students on our roster now than ever before.
In response to the article, we're launching the hashtag . We want to show the world that making your own clothing is still a valuable skill! We'll be showcasing projects by our amazing students and inviting all of you to share your own garment-making projects on social media too!
