In Memory of Ken Gunson

It is with great sadness that we remember Ken Gunson, a valued member of our community and a founding member of the Tara Area food bank.

Ken gave tirelessly of his time and energy to the Food Bank, quietly helping wherever he was needed. Much of what Ken did happened behind the scenes, without recognition or expectation of thanks. He simply saw a need and stepped up to help.

Ken will be greatly missed by us all, but never forgotten.

Our deepest condolences go to Ken’s wife, Sandra, and his family during this difficult time.❤️

You can still sign up to get backpacks and school supplies from the United Way Backpack Program! Just call 211. You can even choose to have them delivered for pick up at the Tara Area Food Bank - even if you aren't a Food Bank client. It is completely free and confidential.
