Meet Juliana, our hat creator at Sandy Bottom.
Her work is built on collaboration. She works closely with indigenous and local artisan communities under fair and respectful conditions, ensuring their craft is not only preserved, but able to sustain and support those who carry it forward.
Each piece is handwoven from natural fibers like toquilla palm, using ancestral techniques passed down through generations. The process is slow and deliberate, shaped by time, patience, and skill.
For Juliana, these pieces are more than accessories.
