Self care - I feel like as moms we are so busy working and taking care of everyone else, we often put ourselves on the back burner.

Why do we do this?

Put yourself first! Fill your cup, FIRST! It's ok to do things for yourself, to have time for the things you enjoy or just some time alone. It took me a LONG time to realize this and to actually put the mom guilt aside and take care of myself. It's easy to get sucked back into being all things to everyone, but with self awareness it does get easier.

As much as I didn't want to go to the gym tonight, I am so happy that my husband motivated me to go....cuz ya know what, you always feel SO damn good afterwards.

It makes a difference to have a friend, partner or family member to help keep you accountable and motivated. If you don't have someone....get someone! You will reap the benefits.

As a busy mom and shift worker, this is my outlet!

If you want to succeed, you must believe in yourself. People easily lose faith in themselves when they encounter setbacks, failure and fear. Don't give up! A few failures are not the end, but a lesson learned. You must get back up, brush yourself off and rise up. Be confident in your abilities to do great things. Don't let fear stop you!
