~Navigating through the stroller and car seat world can be a bit overwhelming when you first start doing your google searches. There are some questions that you have to ask yourself first before you fall in love with what you THINK you want.

~Not all strollers come with the car seat to make it a travel system! There are soooo many options to mix and match brands to adapt to each other so you can have the perfect travel system that works for YOU.

Here are a few questions to get you thinking😉

1- What is my day-to-day lifestyle like?
2-Do I have lots of stairs to my door?
3-What is my main mode of transportation? Car or transit?
4-Do I want it to be able to accommodate more than one child in the future?
5-Am I an outdoorsy person or do I love to cruise the mall?

~Those are only just a few questions to consider before you really start to dive into things. The worst feeling is doing tons of research on a stroller, fall in love with it and then realize that it won’t work for your lifestyle or it won’t adapt the car seat that you want. 〰️ What exactly do you need in your diaper bag for hospital? 〰️

I recommend that you should have your diaper bag packed for both you and baby at about 36 weeks- 32 weeks if you are having twins! Remember, life sometimes doesn’t go as you planned…pregnancy included, so you want the flow to be calm and stress free as possible 😉

Our BEAUTIFUL scars 💪〰️ Let’s not forget that pregnancy is very unpredictable, and although you have a plan that you want to breast feed. Or that you want to have a water birth. Or maybe you want to have the epidural ready for you as soon as you step foot into the hospital! 😉 sometimes it just doesn’t go as planned. And that’s OK. 〰️WANTS are the items that you don’t necessarily MUST have to function day-to-day with Baby at home. For example, you want the cute little plush toys, all the matching outfits with the cute sayings, or the decorative accents for babies room.

〰️LIFESTYLE is probably one of the most important things to keep in mind when you starting to think of things for your baby registry👉Always think of what you do currently day-to-day in your life. Yes your life will change and baby will become boss once they come home 😅BUT, you must also keep doing what you loved to do before baby came along. If you’re an avid runner, why would you stop running once baby comes? If this is the case, then you need to match your baby gear to your lifestyle and purchase a jogging stroller. 🏃‍♀️💪

SUMMER PREGNANCY is almost over🌞

Being pregnant in any season is tough, but with this heat that we’ve had this summer, made it a bit more difficult - walking, working and even breathing made you sweat more! Welcome Fall 🍁

Now is the time to calculate the remaining time of your pregnancy with the weather to transition your clothing. Something to think about🤔

— If your going to be pregnant throughout a big chunk of the fall and winter, your going to need room in your coats/jackets to protect you and your tummy 🥶 some options are to buy a new coat or invest in a coat extension.

— Choosing the option of a coat extension is a favourite of ours as you can purchase zipper extensions and coat extender to work with the coats you already own! Once baby arrives, the extender can flip to give room for you to carry baby so you both are warm.

Congrats you’re pregnant!! What’s next?

You’ve probably started to look at some baby registry “checklists” and may start to feel a bit of nervousness at the list of items 😮 There are three main categories that you see such as gear, furniture, and essentials. But then you start to see all the sub- categories that go along within the categories 😐 For instance… You see a stroller you like but you have to decide if you want a Travel System, one that’s light weight, one that converts for a growing family, one that adapts to your current family, then your researching what a Travel System even is!
