❤️ Happy Mothers' Day ❤️

My journey into motherhood is what inspired the creation of Maah Maternity. The realisation of how beautiful and challenging pregnancy can be ... and the lack of clothing options to take on this incredible feat! 💪

It was emotional for me to be able to wear our Naveen Long Sleeved Black Dress after my Cesarean with my 2nd born son. The dress made me feel put together, hours after my operation, and was roomy enough to accommodate my sore scar and even do a bit of skin to skin contact as seen in my picture. It felt like a full circle moment for me! Embracing Kiren in the Naveen Dress ❤️ 🥲

Maah is a tribute to the maternal role both Lauren and I play in Naveen and Kiren's lives. Women are so incredibly strong and caring and can form a community like no other.

Cheers to all the moms, aunts, and grandmothers who choose to show up and raise our future generations. Thank you to all the mamas who have supported Maahs journey and proudly wear our dress! 🥂❤️

📸✨We teamed up with Kayla Pickles Photography for a Motherhood Mini Photoshoot, and it was such a fantastic event! Meeting all the amazing moms, like , who joined us and rocked our dress was such a great milestone for us as a new brand! We also got such great feedback as well, which is so important as we grow and build out our collection. We will be sharing some pictures throughout the week of a few women who wore our dress!

We highly recommend Kayla for capturing those precious family moments. 📸✨

Our good friend, Mike started as a way to capture his wife's experience with pregnancy, and now as they raise a preschooler! His comics are hilarious, completely relatable and has attracted a community of parents who love sharing their own personal experiences. If you are a parent, we highly recommend giving him a follow! His comics are also great gift ideas for soon to be parents, or those in the throws of raising kids 😉.

🤱🏽Why did we design the "Naveen" Dress for Postpartum❓️

Hey there 👋 Alyssa here :) After welcoming my 1st son Naveen, I was surprised by the intensity of breastfeeding. While it wasn't painful and latching went well, the demanding routine of feeding every 2-3 hours and the discomfort was overwhelming. I didn’t realize how uncomfortable it would be to use the milk pads and wear bras all the time. I really cherished the special connection with my son, but was unsure about how I could keep up and frustrated by my limited clothing options due to breastfeeding requirements. Even though a hip injury ended my breastfeeding journey after three months, the experience resonated deeply.

Being a breastfeeding mama is a demanding job and our society doesn’t have a ton of options or accommodations for moms who are working hard to nourish themselves and their babies while maintaining their sense of self.

Lauren and I wanted to make sure our dress allowed women to feel a little more comfortable and chic while breastfeeding - something I craved when experiencing my own journey. I often pair our dress with the Lace Plunge Nursing Bralette from Momanda and it works together like a dream.🤰💕
