About the designs: All designs are handmade and designed by Sarah Beals. The designs are vintage inspired and some have reconstructed vintage incorporated into the designs. All designs are made to order for your size. D&M is designed and produced in Iowa. s is the owner and designer behind Rock N Reconstruct since its beginning in LA in 2005. Without any experience in the fashion industry besides the few outfits she taught herself to sew, Rock N Reconstruct was born from her love for vintage clothing and an opportunity to sell her works in an LA boutique where it all began. Since then Sarah has evolved her line from reconstructed vintage to a more tailored and re-orderable line Dame & Maiden. Although she will always love to rip up a vintage dress or t shirt, she loves designing the more cohesive collections you see today. Her designs are inspired completely and totally by what she wants to have in her closet that season. She loves vintage styles and pulls a lot of inspiration from the women of the past eras, and classic rock. She will always design for the girls who start fashion trends, and for girls who refuse to wear what every other girl out there is wearing. . She loves making clothes for people to have fun in, and that don't take life too seriously. All of her pieces are made with love, with her own two hands. Sarah prides herself on the fact that all materials are bought and all designs are made in the USA!
