I couldn’t resist knitting up Fallen one more time, but this time in orange. The trio of them make a nice set, don’t you think? 🍂

This one was knit with merino in Rust. I absolutely love knitting with this yarn, especially held double. I’ve done a couple of sweaters with it, too. But Fallen was a small enough project that I could churn it out pretty quickly while on a recent trip to Europe! 🍁

This leaf-shaped shawl requires 750 yards of DK-weight yarn (or 1500 yards of fi*****ng held double). Both samples shown here are knit with , which knit up beautifully. More details can be found on the pattern pages.

The pattern includes three different kind of instructions: written, charted, and ‘intuition’ (a one-page set of instructions that I hope will be prevent knitters from having to keep their eyes glued to the page). It’s a lengthy pattern, but it’s very formulaic and quick to pick up.

One of the great things about this upcoming pattern is that the leaf’s stem (stalk?) is a loop that can be used to style the shawl and secure it in place when worn 🍂

My plan is to publish Fallen mid-to-late August! More pictures & styling suggestions to come in the meantime! Also perhaps a proper photo op when the leaves start changing in Toronto 🤔

Hi everyone 😃 I’d like to introduce Fallen, a shawl pattern that’s been floating around in my head for a long time, but it’s finally come to fruition. This big leaf was so much fun to knit that I did it twice. It’s still summer, but I’m trying to plan ahead so that this pattern is released in time for autumn, so stay tuned. I hope you like it! 🍃🍂

A few pattern details:
It requires 750 yards of DK-weight yarn (or 1500 yards of fi*****ng held double). It’s only available in one size (56 inches long with the stem, 20 inches wide). The stem is a little loop that you can use to secure the shawl when wearing it. More pictures to come!

Both of the samples shown here were knit with which was just so so so great to work with.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone 🥰❤️ the Heartstrings Hat is up on Ravelry now (link in profile). And enjoy 30% off (automatically applied at checkout) until 11:59pm on Tuesday, February 16th ☺️

This pattern uses simple two-stitch cables and slipped stitches to create geometric hearts...on strings 😂 This double-layered hat is completely reversible, with one side showcasing the textured heartstrings while the other showing off some simple stockinette, each side knit in different colors.

The pattern includes instructions for 3 youth/adult sizes and requires between 500 and 600 yards of light fi*****ng weight (or heavy lace weight) yarn. The sample shown uses sock in Tiziano Red and Pearl.

Keep an eye out for pictures of some of the amazing test knits over the next couple of weeks!

Remember that simple grey hat I posted? Well here’s the same hat, turned inside out. Coming soon, the Heartstrings hat ❤️

The pattern is almost done, pending some better photos and test knitting. If you’re interested in testing, feel free to send me a message here! Either way, I’m hoping to publish on February 14th.

Here’s a few details about the pattern. It comes in three sizes (youth, adult medium, adult large). It uses two skeins of fi*****ng-weight yarn in contrasting colors. The hat is reversible, one side displaying the heartstrings texture and the other just a super simple stockinette 😁

Super simple hat? Or something more complicated? 🤐 more coming soon—

Hi folks 👋 life has been busy lately, so I haven’t posted here in a while 😬 but I did manage to knit one Xmas gift this year, so I thought I’d share. I just blocked and wove in the ends on this Resolve cowl. I made some tweaks to really smooth out the transition between colors. I’m so happy with how it turned out 😍
