Fashion Resource Centre at Seneca

Fashion Resource Centre at Seneca A unique and stunning historical and vintage fashion collective. Over 15,000 items include ceremonial pieces, day and evening wear, and accessories.

Our Mandate is simple: "To Collect what Canadians have worn." In this respect, we are not restricted! This provides us with an opportunity to figure out the best place for a donation in our collection. For Example:
Is the item in bad shape? Perhaps we use it as a learning tool in construction classes. Was it made in another country? Then we have a real live example of how other countries how influ

enced Canadian fashion over the decades. Is it a duplicate? Then we look to expand that part of the collection in our Mens' and Childrens' sections. The possibilities are endless; and we look upon each item as unique and useful in its most likely form.

If you haven't seen the amazing exhibit on Dior at the Royal Ontarion Musuem you have just until March 18th. If you can't make it to Toronto check our my two latest blogs at: www.fashionresourcecentre.com. The blog "Decoding Dior" shows a bit of the recent visit Seneca's Fashion students made to see the exhibit.
"21st Century Atelier at the Royal Ontario Musuem" shows just some of our talented Fashion Arts alumni presenting their designs and their process to ROM guests.
