Founded by Karen Ferguson, the boutique has become a platform for both emerging and established Canadian brands, offering everything from fashion and jewellery to accessories and home décor. As the business evolves into Wilkes & Bowens, its mission remains the same: championing Canadian talent while creating meaningful opportunities for designers to grow.

Continuing its No Empty Spaces theme, the festival transforms Yorkville Avenue into a vibrant, interactive cultural playground while celebrating Bloor-Yorkville’s rich artistic legacy.

Spend the weekend exploring larger-than-life murals, watching artists bring new works to life through live painting, discovering immersive installations and inflatable art, browsing pop-up shops, taking part in thought-provoking artist talks, enjoying live music and high-energy dance battles, and celebrating into the evening at the neighbourhood block party. 🎉

For one evening, Cumberland Street becomes the heart of fashion, community, and giving back. ❤️

On Wednesday, July 22, Couture for a Cause returns to Bloor-Yorkville, transforming Cumberland Street into the Official Bloor-Yorkville Runway for an unforgettable evening in support of Camh, Foundation

Inspired by the late 1960s, the era that made Yorkville Canada’s cultural heartbeat, this year’s event brings together Canadian designers, Yorkville salons, live music, incredible local cuisine, and a shared goal of raising $150,000 for mental health.

The fashion show is free to attend, with public viewing screens along Cumberland Street so everyone can take in the runway. After the show, stay for the street celebration with live DJs, drinks, and restaurant pop-ups.
