The word ‘Rani’ is a Sanskrit name meaning “Queen” and we chose this name in relevance to our goal - to instill the feeling of a queen’s confidence amongst women worldwide through our clothing and accessories. f our profits will be dedicated to selected charities. Bold Rani started with a group of girls who wanted something to represent them as strong females. We are all from different backgrounds and within the past few years we visited our home countries and returned with dissatisfaction and sadness. To be greeted with issues such as child marriages, lack of focus on female education and general lack of rights for females took a toll on our hearts. We were disheartened to see females in our communities treated with such disdain. We wanted to create something that makes other females feel as if they’re part of a community; a group of women that support each other, even though we are not always physically there. We founded the Bold Rani brand to distribute that mutual female pride to everyone who wears it.
