This International Women’s Day, I stand and pledge to continuing breaking the bias in the fashion and manufacturing industry.
Over 10 years ago I entered an industry riddled with exploitation, inequality, exclusion, discrimination, male dominance and dangerous environmental impact. I wanted to give more female representation and a voice to an industry with millions of exploited garment workers, horrific practices and non functional designs that dangerously contribute to climate change.
Together you can help change the fashion industry and live in a world where we keep industries accountable. You can help break the bias and ensure fair wages, equality, childcare, diversity & inclusion and safer environmental practices. Collectively Let’s by ensuring the clothing you invest in is not manufactured by unpaid, unfair, dangerous labor and practices. Let’s also ensure your clothing does not contribute to climate change. Let’s take the time to make better purchasing choices for so many critical reasons and help create a better world.
We can all break the bias on International Women's Day (IWD) and beyond.
