An Eclectic Mix of Home Furnishings and Consignment Pieces. A Changing Nest offers a great solution to both sides of the equation, the buyer and the seller.

Life long residents of Bloor West Village, Diana and Gord Ross decided to embrace their passion for all things home-related by opening their own specialty furniture consignment shop, A Changing Nest on Annette Street in the heart of their community. With a wealth of experience in the retail home and garden décor field, Diana brings a natural flair for decorating, a keen eye for blending styles and a love for helping her clients find the right match for their household needs. Complimenting Diana’s artistic eye, Gord offers extensive knowledge of home design garnered from his many years in the television industry where he was the Director of Photography for multiple design shows including, Divine Design with Candice Olson, Home to Go with Peter Fallico, and One House Two Looks with Jason Cass and Jane Lockhart, to name a few. With today’s economy, the everyday consumer is becoming more price conscious, while still looking for good quality furnishings, many are opting for creative ways to decorate. With our aging population comes a downsizing phenomena, which is producing some wonderful quality pieces becoming available in the market place.

One last look before the Christmas transformation begins… ✨🍂

There are still plenty of fall goodies to be found, so there’s time to pop in and discover something special before we switch seasons!

We’ll be taking a little pause from October 25–31 as we work behind the scenes to bring a whole new season to life. We’ll reopen November 1 at 10am, ready to welcome you into our Christmas wonderland. 🎄

Be sure to watch until the end for a little sneak peek at a special project we’re working on. We can’t wait to share the finished result! 🤍

A close up look at a few of the things we’re loving in the shop right now ✨

Four pieces, four completely different personalities, and each one caught our eye for a reason.

🤎 Vintage leather tub chair — beautifully aged leather, warm wood and brass stud details, all in mint condition.

🔄 Transforming vintage side table — a truly unique find that twists from a classic round shape into a triangle. Because we love a piece that does a little something unexpected.

🐓 Ontario-made candles — tapers and the cutest chicken candles, bringing a little personality to your tablescape.

🤍 Vintage alabaster lamp — beautiful natural stone paired with an unusual reeded shade. A piece that feels both classic and completely one-of-a-kind.

Which one would you take home? ✨
