For immediate release - Toronto, April 16th, 2019 (LesleyHampton.com)
On April 13th, 2019 LESLEY HAMPTON launched ROBUST19 by LESLEY HAMPTON, which is an athleisure-collection diffusion line separate from their main eveningwear brand. The brandโs focus, as always, is on body positivity and mental health awareness, through the lens of athletic-wear and festivalwear. This season, the prints Robust is using are visuals of photography of cannabis-crystals, printed onto material that is lightweight and comfortable. It is Lesleyโs way of highlighting the use of cannabis CBD for mental health and physical health for some individuals but mostly, the focus is on methods to better oneโs health.
The evening encompassed positive energy and a sense of community, with a surprise runway presentation, bites and beer, mirrors with messages of encouragement and self-love, as well as, an opportunity for guests and media to shop the runway and party, of course!
Pulse pieces included, the neon-orange-air mesh cargo suit, with slits, that can be either mixed or matched, as well as, the show-stopping Loud Bomber-scaled reflective jacket (each piece was hand-cut and sewn on one-by-one). Other favorites, included, the Loud Motto, Loud Cargo and Loud Leggings. That evening, the Candyland Pack and Fancy F***y flew off the shelves!
Lesley started the Robust Collection by Lesley Hampton because she noticed herself always walking into mainstream athletic-wear stores and her size would never be available. The sales associates would always suggest that she squeeze into a size smaller, yet the look was unflattering and uncomfortable. Hampton wants ROBUST to be a brand for all body types to feel comfortable and confident in their size and give respect and love to their bodies.
ROBUST19 is offered from size XS-3X and our models during the launch performance ranged the gender spectrum, with all bodies rocking the runway.
Lesley Hampton is donating $5 from each Robust19 item purchased, during the monthโs launch to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
