Hand Weaving the Grays High Neck Coat in Ontario Wool

A film we shot at the home and studio of Deborah from Upper Canada Weaving.

Located in the east end of Toronto, it is a very special feeling to seeing a fabric woven in this way so close to our home and store.

This is simply a part of the long process of getting a wearable fabric. To make 22 yards of woven Ontario Wool is no small feat.

Thanks to Liam Iron Cauldron Colour Works for this deeply beautiful and saturated blue which was hand dyed in Toronto as well.

Fleece farmed by Topsy Farms just outside of Kingston on Amherst Island

Makers like Deborah are what brought us into this world of fibre and fashion and continue to inspire us to keep making and passing this experience to our followers.
