Silk ties are transformed into headbands, wrist cuffs/bun wraps or deconstructed into necklaces and earrings. After losing my job in 2012 I needed to find a new purpose to my days. With lots of time and a love of sewing I set out to find something different to make for my grandchildren. That is how this adventure started and now I'm in the Arts Market!!

My busin

ess name was chosen from an online family contest. After 3 days and 101 entries I chose Sew it Was (thanks to my brother-in-law Gord). I love taking something that once was and reconstructing into something completely new and wearable. I hope you can stop by the Arts Market to visit Sew it Was and all the other amazing artists!!
