Hand-stitched. Which is slower, and the reason it’s better.

The Meridian, in genuine suede. Every seam set by hand, the flap shaped rather than pressed, one turn-lock closure and nothing else. Structured enough to hold its line, soft enough to sit against a coat without fighting it.

This is a design practice, not a trend cycle. Pieces get made when there’s a reason for them.

I didn’t start here. But I was always meant to be here.

Every decision in a Marus bag is a decision about restraint. One stud where most brands would put five. A soft line that holds its shape without a frame fighting it. Suede that deepens instead of wearing thin. Stitching that holds up where no one’s looking.

I couldn’t find a bag built this way, so I built one. Premium vegan leather first, genuine leather alongside it now.
All of it handbuilt by people who take the time fast production never allows.
A design practice, not a trend cycle.
