Your children may not always openly tell you about eye discomfort, so pay attention to their behavior. And immediately book an eye exam if you notice that your child is doing that:

► Frequent squinting or blinking
► Sitting too close to screens
► Has poor hand-eye coordination
► Sensitive to light
► Skipping lines while reading
► Has difficulty recognizing colors or shapes

❗️The eye exam is for about 30 minutes. But it's a crucial 30 minutes per year! Moreover, annual eye exams are fully covered by OHIP for children (19 or younger).

And taking care of your child's overall health and development is one of your top priorities as parents.
