Dress making, hemming, alterations. My experience is mainly with apparel but I can also make soft toys, seat covers, bedding, purses, bags, crafts and much more.

My client brought in an old wrap skirt she'd had forever and worn out and asked if I could make her a new one the same as the last. Here are the results! I want one for myself!

Client brought me a dress and wanted the same dress but in new fabric. The original dress was a much stretcher fabric than the fabric she bought for the new one so we had to do 2 fittings and I had to rework the dress a little but I think the results were great!

Sweater I made for myself out of a McCall's pattern (M7194). Got a good deal on the fabric at Fabricland. It's a nice thick and cozy knit. I got a lot of compliments on it when I wore it to work today!

Before and after of a dress I recently altered. Client wanted a high-low hem. It turned out great on her and she was such a pleasure to work with!

Currently making a suit. Reinforcing the pocket lining with a double line of stitching because phones not falling out of pockets is important :)

3 shirts I just completed for a client. Sleeves slightly altered on each to be longer according to the client's preference.

Commissioned to make a tank for one of the leaders of a choir I go to. This is Nobu of CHOIR CHOIR CHOIR and I was asked to make a tank for him from another member. Without knowing his measurements I think it turned out pretty great!

The Client: a young guy with a side business selling mens hats. The challenge: make a bag to fit 5 cardboard hat boxes of irregular shape. Stipulations: must not take up a lot of space while walking with it on the sidewalk.
The results: a sturdy bag carried vertically with a short shoulder strap. To give the bag form and stability a thin layer of plastic was added in between the layers of fabric on each side of the bag.

This dress was over 6 hours of hand sewing but it's finally altered! The sides needed to be taken in as well as the sleeves and I had to fix the two darts in the front which were making the dress fit weird on the client. Because the fabric is so open I knew it would probably be more frustrating to machine sew it so I chose to hand sew the alterations. It might not look like much in the photo but it looks beautiful on!
