The reason? The growing saga of this Nissan shouldn't surprise some of you. However surprises me daily when dealing with Nissan and my warranty.
Less then a month ago my car went in after waiting on parts to replace my driver's window track. 9 months after having a transmission and transfer case replace aswell, they finally had the ability to fix a heatsheild rattle at the same time.
The day I get it back, my mirrors and seats dont work (these buttons are in my driver door). I also now have an exhaust leak..
My window falls off track again, and breaks yesterday. Today I've been told im responsible for the window. Regardless of how they try and reason this, its not right. If a licensed Nissan teck working at a Nissan dealership on a Nissan (a 2019 Pathfinder) they would be able to find any and all issues since they pulled the exterior door panel off. By now I should state I am mechanical but not licensed or trained in any way. I did express that I do not feel its right with the warranty covering 20,000 km on the parts and or the tech failing to find a issue on a diagnostic I paid for, warranty paid to fix. If anything else happened someone outside myself should take responsibility.
So needless to say. I got permission to put the window back in the track. OPP (ontario provincial police) have stated i cannot tape my window in any way as to make sure a blow out, does not blow into my toddler behind me. This would be a heavy fine and points to obstruct my view of mirror.
And im being told I have to pay 891.00 for the window plus them to install, not including the tint to match my car.
So here is to me hoping I can raise the money!
