✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR EAST COAST TAILOR ✨

After much thought, planning, and a whole lot of excitement, I’m finally ready to share that East Coast Tailor is relocating & rebranding!

This isn’t goodbye, and East Coast Tailor isn’t going out of business. It’s simply time for a change — a new location, a fresh direction, and an exciting new chapter ahead. 🤍

As I prepare for the move and transition, I am no longer accepting new alteration work or appointments. All existing commitments will, of course, be completed as arranged.

To every client who has trusted me with a wedding gown, prom dress, suit, special occasion piece — or that last-minute alteration that absolutely had to be ready tomorrow 😅 — thank you. Your support has meant more than you know.

There’s more to share about what comes next, but for now…

✨ Vacation is over… and the sewing machine is calling! 🧵✂️

East Coast Tailor will be back to regular business hours starting Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your patience while I took a much-needed break. I’m refreshed, recharged, and ready to help with all your alteration needs—from everyday tailoring to bridal gowns, formalwear, and everything in between.

If you have an event coming up this summer or fall, don’t wait to book your appointment. My schedule fills quickly!

The custom drop sleeves I’ve created are coming together beautifully on this stunning Melissa Sweet wedding gown.

Delicate lace appliqués have been carefully placed and hand-finished to create a romantic, elegant look that perfectly complements the gown’s design. These details may seem small, but they make all the difference in creating a truly one-of-a-kind bridal look.

Every stitch is done with care to ensure the sleeves look as though they were always meant to be part of the gown.

You’ve got the dress.
You’ve got the shoes.

But do you have an emergency kit? 👀

Tuck a small pouch into your purse or leave one in the car with:

✔️ Safety pins
✔️ Mini sewing kit
✔️ Blotting papers or powder
✔️ Lip gloss/lipstick for touch-ups

✔️ Band-Aids (those new shoes can be brutal!)

🎓✨ And that’s a wrap on Prom 2026! ✨🎓

The final prom gown has left the shop, and prom appointments are officially complete for the year.

A huge thank you to every student and family who trusted East Coast Tailor with such an important milestone. From simple hems to major transformations, it has been an absolute pleasure helping so many amazing young people feel confident and comfortable for their special night.

To say this season was busy would be an understatement, but I truly love what I do, and I’m grateful for every dress, every challenge, and every smile at pickup.

Now it’s time to shift my focus back to wedding gowns, bridesmaids, formalwear, and all the other alterations waiting their turn.
