Just a quick heads-up, friends! 💛

I’ll be out of town Saturday, Sunday & Monday, so the Truro Diaper Bank will be unavailable during those days.

Messages may not be answered right away, and there will be no pickups or support available until I’m back.

If you know you’ll need support over the weekend, please reach out by tomorrow so we can make arrangements. I don’t want anyone to go without the support they need. 🫶🏻

I’m honestly SO grateful for this amazing community. These past few weeks, I’ve been able to say, “I have that size available 🙌🏻” instead of having to say, “I’m sorry, we’re out.”

This is exactly why your donations matter. Every single box, bag, pack and wipe helps us keep saying YES when a family reaches out. 🥹💗

FRIENDS I NEED YOUR INPUT! 📣

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we can reach more families outside of Truro. 💭

I know there are families in surrounding communities who may need support from the Truro Diaper Bank but don’t have the means to travel to Truro to pick up diapers.

I would love to find a way to make our support more accessible to families in the surrounding areas, but I need your help!

Do you have any ideas or suggestions? 👀👀

They asked how many families this donation would help, and the answer is: over 30 families! 🙌🏻

That means 30+ babies and children who will have clean, dry bums. 🥹🩵

Every single donation makes a huge impact, and we are so grateful for everyone who helps us support families in our community. 💕

Our diaper bank is reaching more communities every day! 🥳 Stewiackie now has a drop-off location! 🩵

The Colchester-East Hants Public Library, Stewiackie Branch, located at 295 George St., is now accepting donations for the Truro Diaper Bank! Stop by during their regular hours and leave your donations at the designated drop-off spot. Just look for our logo—you’ll find it! 👀👀

This month has been very difficult for us. Sadly, we haven’t received as many donations as we’ve had requests, and we’ve had to turn away multiple families simply because we didn’t have what they needed.

By far, one of the hardest parts of running the diaper bank is having to say no. 💔

We currently have families waiting for the sizes they need to become available. Usually, we’re able to work around sizes and find ways to accommodate families, but because we’re completely out of several of our bigger sizes, that has been nearly impossible lately.

We are currently completely out of diaper sizes 4, 5, and 6, as well as Pull-Ups 3T/4T.

We are also very low on diaper sizes 7 and 8, and Pull-Ups 4T/5T.

If you’re able to contribute in any way, whether it’s diapers, Pull-Ups, or wipes, please reach out. Every donation makes a difference and helps us say “yes” to another family. 🙌🏻💛

This week we received these 2 beautiful donations. These are the kind of donations that fill my heart. ❤️

Multiple sizes, tossed into a bag or a box. These are not just diapers. They represent a different stage, a different milestone, a different moment of growth. And now, these diapers are going to support another baby as they grow.

When you donate, you’re helping another family reach the milestones you once celebrated with your own baby. What your little one has outgrown can become something another baby needs today. 🥹❤️
