Bra Care 101 🤍
Your LaBratory bra is designed to support you through recovery. Here is how to care for it so it stays soft, supportive, and beautiful over time.

🧼 Wash on a delicate cycle.
✨ Remove the pads if needed, or leave them inside.
🤍 Always hang to dry. No dryer.

Heat can break down the fabric over time and reduce the support your bra provides.
Better care means longer lasting comfort.

“Finally, a bra made by women, for women.” 🤍

That was Corina’s review and honestly, it captures everything we set out to create.

Designed alongside surgeons. Created for women and recovery. Because support should never mean compromising comfort or beauty.

Soft enough for all-day wear. Supportive enough to trust post-surgery. Beautiful enough to help you feel like yourself again.

This is what Patient Love looks like. Real stories. Real recovery. 🤍

🩺5 important things to look for in a recovery bra.
As a plastic surgeon, I see recovery every day.

Most patients choose their post-surgical bra based on price or availability. Surgeons look for specific things. Most patients are never told what they are.

The wrong bra can affect comfort, healing, and your final result.

Here are the five things I check when recommending a recovery bra to my patients.

The LaBratory Detail - Vol. 04 🤍 The Seamless Cup.

LaBratory bras are designed with more than ten surgeon-required features. This series highlights the ones that matter most during recovery.

Most recovery bras are made with a single layer of fabric. No internal structure. No consideration for sensitive, healing tissue.

The LaBratory seamless cup is custom two-layer molded to give shape and support. No seams. No rubbing. No pressure on the areas that need to heal.

Designed by surgeons. Built to optimize recovery.

The mom who does it all does not always need flowers. 🌸

Sometimes she needs something chosen with care.

Something soft. Something beautiful. Something that helps her feel amazing.

Whether she is recovering after surgery, caring for everyone around her, or simply deserving of something made with thought and intention, a LaBratory bra is a way to say:

I see you.

Not only as a mother, but as a woman. 🤍

For her, or for you, shop the collection at the link in bio.

What a woman needs after breast surgery is not always what most surgical bras give her.

Different surgeries come with different recovery needs.

Augmentation. Reconstruction. Reduction. Lift.

That is why LaBratory was designed around the real recovery experience: swelling, sensitivity, limited mobility, changing shape, and the need to feel supported without feeling medical.

One standard.

Surgeon designed. Built for recovery.

A friend recommended LaBratory to Robyn.🤍
Now she is sharing her experience.

During recovery, comfort matters. Support matters. But so does how a bra actually feels when you wear it all day.

Robyn described the fit as comfortable, supportive, and never restrictive. Exactly what she was hoping for during recovery.

Real patients. Real recovery.

If you have worn LaBratory, we would love to hear your experience. Your story may help another woman feel more confident heading into surgery.. 🤍

Most post surgical bras are made with a single layer of fabric.☝🏼

After breast surgery, ni***es can be more sensitive and more projecting during healing. Thin fabric often means there is little protection or coverage under clothing.
LaBratory bras are designed with double layered fabric and soft protective pad inserts to provide protection and modesty during recovery.

A small detail that makes a meaningful difference.✨

The LaBratory Detail — Vol. 03 🔑

The Keyhole Feature. Designed for the moments that matter most.

After breast surgery, simple movements can feel different. Getting dressed is no longer automatic. Every step needs to be easier and more comfortable.

The keyhole opening on your LaBratory bra was designed with this moment in mind.

It allows the bra to open and close easily, even when shoulder movement is limited after surgery.

No twisting.
No pulling.
Just gentle support when you need it most.

Because during recovery, the small details matter.

Designed by plastic surgeons.
Made for comfort, support, and confidence during healing.

Most patients start to feel better around weeks two to three after breast surgery.🤍

Swelling improves and movement becomes easier. At that point many patients start wondering if they still need to wear their recovery bra.

But feeling better does not mean healing is complete.

Deep tissues continue to stabilize for weeks to months after surgery. This is why many surgeons recommend wearing a supportive bra for six to twelve weeks, and sometimes longer depending on the procedure.

Support during this time helps control swelling, protect healing tissue, and maintain breast shape as everything settles.

Save this post if you are preparing for breast surgery, and feel free to message us with any recovery questions.
