Still thinking about the Helmut Lang Retrospective at the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna last weekend.

As a fashion student, I used to travel from Vienna to Paris almost every season, trying to sneak into runway shows, asking for tickets outside venues or flashing my student ID which, somehow, actually worked back then.

Some of my best moments were at Helmut Lang shows. Even though my ultimate hero back then was Jean Paul Gaultier, I remember sensing early on that what Lang was doing felt different. It felt modern, sharp, ahead of its time.

Looking back now, it was more than that. His work didn’t just define a moment, it shaped an entire generation of designers. His approach was quietly revolutionary.

This retrospective really brings that into focus. It reminded me how deeply his vision influenced not only fashion, but also my own way of seeing it.

Last weekend, we had the most wonderful experience at the Spring Pop-Up at Schloss Leopoldskron.

Surrounded by lovely colleagues and friends, and meeting a growing community of cape lovers here in Salzburg, made this moment truly special.

Set against a breathtaking backdrop, a historic building, serene gardens, a shimmering pond with wildlife, and mountains rising in the distance, all in the heart of Salzburg, this venue is simply unforgettable.

And a little extra magic: did you know that parts of The Sound of Music were filmed right here at Schloss Leopoldskron?

Stepping Into Women’s Month.

In times that feel uncertain, this month is a quiet reminder of the women who came before us, the ones who fought for education, autonomy, dignity, and opportunity, and prepared the ground we stand on today.

It is also a reminder that the work is not finished. Across industries, borders, and cultures, imbalance still exists, often subtle, structural, persistent.

Change happens when we stand our ground. When we support one another, build networks, show presence, and step into our power. When collaboration replaces competition, and leadership is shaped by empathy.

Women are not a category or a statistic.
We are leaders, thinkers, creators, builders.

And the world needs women standing together now more than ever, to shape a future grounded in dignity, opportunity, and peace.
