Hi, I’m Azam ( Shirin) , founder of *Echelle Fashion Studio* in beautiful Vancouver!
I’m a passionate *fashion designer and instructor* with over 25 years of hands-on experience in the industry.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the honour of mentoring many talented students—some of whom now work at top fashion companies like *Arc’teryx*. I’ve collaborated with *local designers* to develop and launch their collections and have taught fashion design at one of *Vancouver’s top fashion colleges*, in addition to training my own *private students*, both *online and in person*.

🏆 A proud *Gold Medalist* at the *Skills Canada Championship* in Fashion Design, I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to showcase two collections at *Vancouver Fashion Week*.

My expertise also includes working as a *head pattern maker* and *mentor* in fashion production.

‏ I designed this dress especially for the popular Iranian singer, Vazista, who has 1 million followers on Instagram. She asked for a dress with a spider web concept, and I carefully created it to match her vision. Vazista wore this unique dress proudly at her first performance at the Linz International Short Film Festival. I'm thrilled that she's happy with how it turned out. It's an honor that she trusted me with every step of the process, from coming up with the design to sewing the dress.
