There have been so many babies in our life. This labour of love was pieced together with waffle merino fabric from scraps, batting from the old building’s scrap bin, & hand embroidered using Facebook marketplace embroidery thread. The only “new” fabric (the backing) was the end of a roll purchased from a Vancouver company now gone out of business. The materials for all of this were collected over 4 years, stored (at the expense of my husband’s sanity) in a closet… waiting for a loved one. The last photo is the joy shared when we could finally take a photo of our near-finished work.
