We've recently completed the design process for women'wear, resort and swimwear for SP25. Here are TWO overarching trends that fueled our innovation and resonated with our clients in the category 💣

This year, we're excited to welcome two new clients to our roster: one emerging brand and one established UK based brand that has entrusted their design team to us 🤗

Trend #1: SILK-Inspired Knits

We're seeing a shift towards elegant knitwear, drawing inspiration from luxurious silk textures - from satin shimmering knits to crepes with stretch and chiffon-like meshes - there's a desire to transition away from activewear knits (flat and smooth) towards fashion-inspired knits that offer the same standards of comfort. The look is modern elegance, which fuses evening and daytime aesthetics as a fresh take on the category.

Trend #2: Easy Wear Elegance

Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, we predict a surge in ballerina-inspired designs, goddess-like silhouettes, corset detailing, and elegant coordinated sets. The focus is on relaxed silhouettes that complement the female form - slender skimming tops with full skirts at sweeping lengths. Over the past decade working in apparel development we have found that even large established brands lack the expertise (and internal processes) necessary to conduct scientific tests and interpret results for fabric or product innovation creating a WINDOW of opportunity for motivated new brands.
